Facebook now on Android - well, fBook anyway

facebook-on-android.jpg
So, it seems there's some temporary relief in the standoff between Google and Facebook as to who should be supplying the application for the ever-popular social network on the Android Market. The answer, of course, is neither of them - for now anyway.

Instead the honour has fallen to a third party developer called by Next Mobile Web who's created fBook - a wrapper of the Facebook app for the iPhone. It supposed to be the same as going to m.facebook.com on your browser but with a couple of handy tweeks like picture uploading.

I doubt this is the best we'll see on Android but, for now, at least all you 'Book heads can get your fix on a G1. Enjoy.
