The General Manager of Asustek, Samson Hu, has announced that the next generation of the wildly popular Eee PCs will feature a touchscreen. The new Eees will be showcased at CES 2009 in January, and launched in Q1 2009.
The company hasn't decided exact specs yet for the new models, but they're hoping to start producing dual-core Atom netbooks, as soon as Intel begins shipping the chips. They're also planning an ultra-cheap Eee, which will be priced at less than NT$10,000 (£180).
