EyeCandy iPhone comic book – Murderdrome for kids

It must be, frankly, gutting to pour your heart and soul into a comic book application for the iPhone store only to be told that it’s being pulled because it’s “obscene and offensive”. That’s what happened to Murderdrome and its creators Al Ewing and PJ Holden back in August.

So they’ve had a second crack it and created something that looks just as fantastic, something even more innovative but, most importantly, something Apple couldn’t possibly say ‘no’ to. Ladies and gentlemen, EyeCandy…

Of course, the only problem with making a comic for kids on the iPhone is that not many kids own iPhones – well, not as many as adults anyway. So PJ, here, is banking on the fact that the screams of children is a more powerful concern to parents then the safety of their very expensive mobile phone in the hands of a seven-year-old, but then, what’s insurance for.

Rather a shame that Murderdrome never made it but good to see it’s not all gone to waste and I must admit, I quite fancy shaking that ass.
