rock intros Pegasus 520 notebook: world's first sporting nVidia 9650M GT

rock has announced its new Pegasus 520 notebook, claiming it as the world’s first portable to use nVidia’s 9650M GT graphics processor.

Sporting a 15.4-inch widescreen display, this notebook packs a performance punch that’s great for intensive applications like showing high definition movies and gaming.

Alongside the Intel Core 2 Duo T9500 processor running at 2.5GHz, the nVidia graphics chip boasts 1GB of memory, Direct X10 support, and nVidia’s PureVideo HD video engine which supports full 1080p high definition processing.

Other features include 4GB of RAM, up to 320GB hard drive, latest Wi-Fi specification, Bluetooth, 8x DVD writer (with Blu-ray as an option), two megapixel webcam, fingerprint reader, and Vista Home Premium.

Available from the end of August, prices starting at £1,099.
