Poor old Noel must be getting old - he's started blaming things he doesn't understand for all the wrongs of society. Today, it's knife crime that's the fault of games.
Speaking to Radio 1's news show, Gallagher said "People say it's through violent video games and I guess that's got something to do with it," showing that he hasn't lost his knack of recycling other people's ideas and passing them off as his own.
"If kids are sitting up all night smoking super skunk and they come so desensitised to crime because they're playing these video games, it's really, really scary," he added, no doubt mentally working out how much it'd cost to hire a couple of security guards. Thanks, Noel. For your next task, can you outline what's causing the global financial slowdown in two bite size sentences?
