Asus has announced its Eee PC 904 which will sport a larger keyboard but doesn't contain Intel's Atom processor. Instead, it has a 900MHz Celeron M processor, 8.9 inch display, 1GB of RAM, 80GB hard drive, Ethernet, Wi-Fi, three USB ports, VGA output, and memory card reader.
As its full name suggests, the 904HD XP will come loaded with Windows XP.
It's not clear why Asus has chosen not to stick with the Atom processor, and it will be interesting to see how this impacts on performance and operation.
No news on a UK price, with The Register suggesting it could retail around the £320-£380 mark.
