Sony extends BRAVIA Internet Video Link, now includes YouTube

youtube2.jpgSony has announced that its Internet Video Link hardware, which we saw at CES this year, can now stream YouTube videos as well as the current crop of web sites and services it can handle.

How good YouTube content will look on your 50-inch BRAVIA TV is another matter, as even higher quality videos aren’t true high definition.

Those videos of cute animals, bizarre Japanese game shows, drunken karaoke parties, and poorly copied TV classics, may lose their appeal when you can see every pixel magnified to the size of a Lego brick, and even Sony’s BRAVIA ENGINE Pro ain’t gonna save you.
