Well, lucky old Korea because, if you’re passing that way, you may see lots of very smiley faces in excitement at the launch of a rather fantastic looking sub-notebook from the house of Kohjinsha.

The Kohjinsha S130 is in very traditional sense a true mini with just 7 inches of touchscreen but it does pack a punch as great as any subsequent Asus, Acer or Dell et al. It comes with meaty 1.33GHz Intel Atom Z520 processor, a full 1GB of RAM and a nice and roomy 60GB of HDD space. Best of all though, is the fact that this little beauty supports GPS with navigational mapping software and DMB functionality as well.

It comes with a simple choice of just black and white and here it is above with a human being, just to give you a little sense of scale. Now try imagining it’s a giant playing with a 14″ laptop. Give it a while, it’s good when it works.

Despite all the juicy spec, the Kohjinsha S130 is still just 798g by virtue of its almost pocket size but, unfortunately, there are only plans for release in Japan, China, Hong-Kong and Singapore. Booooo!
