I was beginning to wonder where all the summer gadgets had gone and then I saw this fantastic intelligent, electric wine cooler.
Using the LCD display, you program in over 30 different wines, each with their own specific optimum drinking temperature, so when you stick in your chardonnay or your chenin blanc you just select the right one and it cools your booze to absolute perfection.
It comes with a bottle opener and it's not cheap at £69.99 but, unfortunately, the most important details of this product are not as yet evident, such as how long it takes and how you're supposed to power it when outdoors, but then that just gives me a damn good reason to call one in and have a closer look, wouldn't you say? Bottoms up.
