HP-iPAQ-900.JPGHP has announced the date of the first consignment of their brand new smartphone, the HP iPAQ 910 Business Messenger, the latest in the iPAQ series. From 30th June, you’ll be able to get your hands on this device – HP’s first to sport the Windows 6.1 mobile operating system.

Along with a clean enough exterior, the iPAQ 910 works 3G in tri-band areas through UMTS/HSDPA and 2G in quad-band zones through GSM/GPRS/EDGE but, of course, it does come with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth as standard.

It has Cyberon Voice Commander and HP Voice Reply for handsfree e-mailing, a 3-megapixel and online digital service for immediate image upload and an easy to thumb QWERTY interface and stylus if you prefer.

The only downside is that the SD card slot is underneath the battery (why do manufacturers keep doing that?) and that you’ll have to pay €499 (inc VAT) to get one.

  • Daniel, the micor-SD card slot on this device is located externally on the side ie above the USB charge connector and not below the battery.
    Thanks
