ASUS shows off Handwriting Pad accessory for Eee PC

ASUS has unveiled its Handwriting Pad accessory designed specifically for the Eee PC. Connecting via USB, the unit can recognise Chinese and English characters, numerals, and symbols, and supports English and Simplified Chinese. It features a 55 x 42mm writing area, and comes with a stylus.
Other details are scarce, so no clue as to when or if it will arrive in the UK, and at what price. Take a look at AVING.net for more photos.
Though a touchscreen Eee PC is expected soon, this add-on could be good for older models, particularly if you don’t want to hack it.
