Now, we've seen motorised skateboards before but the Altered Skates Pro Module 600 wireless board is the hot rod amongst old bangers.
Yes, this little baby will do 0-19mph in just four seconds and with any luck you'll still be on it 40ft later when it's hit top speed. If not, you can always use the wireless controller to stop it from running away.
The Pro Module 600 takes four hours to charge up but when full will give you a running range of 8-12 miles which is enough juice to get you to the shops and back several times over.
You don't even have to worry about all the pounds you pile on, as you essentially kiss goodbye to walking ever again, because it's sturdy enough to take up to 17stone in body blubber. Couldn't promise how fast you'd go though.
It's not cheap at $499 and, as much as I'd love a go, I'm still saving my coppers for the hover board. Someone has to invent a decent model one day.
