Unlock your iPhone with the Universal SIM Unlock Card

Now, it looks to me like we've seen these little ingenious, non-invasive SIM unlockers before - not one month ago in fact - under the name "SIMable". The difference is this time that the differently dubbed, but not as catchy, "SIM Unlock Card" claims to be able to unlock the Holy Grail of mobiles. Yes that's right, we're talking about the iPhone.

If you didn't see it before, this little orange sucker works by fitting in between your normal SIM and the phone and confuses your handset into thinking everything is kosher without having to take your phone into some seedy shop for a bloke to tap it with his hammer.

The SIM Unlock card seems to work with just about every phone make and model - check the list - and comes in cheaper than the SIMable at $22.99, but before you iPhone freaks get your credit cards out, there's currently no guarantee that it will work with the new iPhones to be released shortly. Oooo that tricky firmware.
