TomTom announces availability of GO x30 Series of portable navigation units

TomTom has announced that five of its GO x30 Series portable navigation units are now available to buy in the UK.

All five units feature a 4.3 inch widescreen LCD, with up to 4GB of internal Flash memory, SD card slot, GPS receiver, Bluetooth, and lithium-polymer battery.

Other features include Advanced Lane Guidance for a more realistic view and enhanced visual instructions of drivers’ surroundings, Map Share technology enabling users to make corrections to their own maps instantly and benefit from improvements made by other users, detailed traffic information, Enhanced Positioning Technology, hands-free calling, and enhanced safety features.

The TomTom GO 930 Traffic is a premium model featuring seamless maps of 35 countries in Western and Eastern Europe, USA, Canada and Russia, and retails for £399.99.

The TomTom GO 730 and GO 730 Traffic feature 31 country maps, and retail for £299.99 and £329.99 respectively.

The TomTom GO 530 and GO 530 Traffic come with pre-installed door-to-door maps of the UK and Ireland, and retail for £249.99 and £279.99 respectively.

All units are available now.

  • I’ve had a TomTom930T for nearly a week now. Great product, but the one let down is the built in FM transmitter quality is appalling for streaming MP3s to the car radio.
