See, you don’t have to just mod computers, Monkeylectric will do your bike for you now too. That’s good, clean, healthy gadgety fun. Nice to talk tech that gets one out of the shadows of one’s pop tart-littered geek den from time to time.

You see, I think this looks bloody excellent. The first thought in my head was Burning Man but then there’s an every day use as well.

Who needs to bother with those square-looking yellow reflectors and sash combos while cycling about our city streets when you can bad it up with an LED neon circus at your wheels? No one’ll notice you looking like a loser with a bike helmet on after that.

The device, technically the Monkeylectric m132s, fits to the wheels of any bike and creates the pretty patterns with its row of LEDs as you spin. Naturally, it’s weather-proof, it’s only 65g and will take 3 x AA batteries that’ll last you 30 hours of 32-colour, light fantastic fun.

It’s pretty cheap too at just $64.99 and the good news is that they will ship anywhere.
