Creative gets into budget camcorder market with Vado

Not a million miles from the disgo, the Creative Vado is the latest contender in the budget camcorder market.

It's been leaked by online retailer JR.com and claims to offer VGA shooting, 2-inch LCD, one-button recording, good low-light performance, two hour recording on a 2GB card, direct upload to YouTube or Photobucket, 2x zoom, rechargeable AA batteries and a built-in flexible USB connector.

It's selling for $100. And it doesn't look like this picture, Confused? Well, this is a Wired mock-up, based on what it's likely to look like. The real image will follow with the inevitable official launch in the next couple of weeks.
