Now, this is so nearly the best thing ever. Ok, I exaggerate but it's nearly very, very good indeed. How about that?
What we have here is a watch that not only looks pretty swish but more importantly detects WiFi networks of a 2.4GHz signal or greater. The problem is that just because you can detect a network, it doesn't mean you can connect to it.
I don't know about you but I haven't chanced upon an unsecured wireless signal since 2004. Damn BT and all their safe Home Hubs.
So, what I'm proposing is some sort of light on the watch to let you know when you can piggy back some free internet, or better still another wrist ornament to crack Mac codes and internet keys. Then you're in business, right up until you have to explain why you're sitting up against someone's front door checking your e-mail.
