"There is huge confidence that Scotland will continue to play an important part in the future of video games and interactive entertainment and we are focusing on establishing firm foundations for lifelong learning and, for some, specialised study and careers," said schools minister Maureen Watt, of the plan to teach kids design and computer skills by tricking them into thinking they're having fun.

With apocalyptic game series Grand Theft Auto created in Scotland by Rockstar North, there's clearly more than a bit of local talent in the area. Shame the Canadians get all the tax breaks, though, which is slowly killing the UK games industry and will see all development outsourced to Canada by the time these poor kids hit the job market.
