I'll admit that I'm writing this just before dinner time, so excuse me that this kitchen gadget doesn't have a built-in iPod dock, or a Wi-Fi connection, or access to news, weather, your iTunes account, and Wikipedia.
What it does, though, is allow you to recreate a traditional pizzeria without the fuss and expense of going out.
Giles and Posner's new stonebake grill will cook pizza in minutes, or heat up a range of other foods including omelettes, quiches, bread, pastries and pies. It features an interchangeable deep dish non-stick pan, and a revolving stone that gives pizzas their crisper base.
It measures 38cms wide by 20cms high, and comes in metallic red finish. It costs £49.95, which isn't bad if you feel like giving Dominos or Pizza Hut the heave-ho and doing it yourself in the kitchen.
