IQ Routes technology is based on real average speeds for the road type, which is said to offer better/faster routes – saving you time and petrol. Advanced Lane Guidance offers a more realistic view and enhanced visual instructions of drivers’ surroundings, giving you a better idea of what’s coming up.

Other features include a new ‘premium’ look, TomTom Map Share technology (map corrections by fellow users), RDS-TMC Traffic Receiver for the latest road news, Enhanced Positioning Technology (EPT) for uninterrupted navigation even in tunnels or highly built areas, a 4.3-inch touch screen, voice address, Bluetooth hands-free calling, built-in FM transmitter and a pre-installed safety camera database.

The TomTom GO 930T comes pre-installed with maps of 35 countries in Western & Eastern Europe, USA, Canada and Russia. You can get one from April 2008 for an as-yet unconfirmed price.
