Simkey Simcard Backup, to make those mornings of disgrace more bearable

simkey-simcard-backup-pda.jpgIt is the most humiliating message you will ever send. It is the message that says "I lost my phone. Send me your number."

It's the message that tells everyone you're an idiot. Probably a drunken idiot, too, as the last time you remember having it was late last night when you were considering sending a few "sexy texts" to previous lovers and mistresses on the night bus home.

Did you fall asleep and let someone take it out of your hands? Did you miss your pocket and wedge it down the back of the bus seat instead? Did you fly into a drunken rage and throw it at the kebab seller when he said he was all out of chicken burgers?

You will never know. The only thing certain in the world of lost mobile phones is that by the time you get around to phoning the mobile company to have it blocked, it'll already be unlocked and on eBay for someone who lost theirs the day before to pick up. And so the circle continues.

You can at least avoid all the hassle and ridicule of owning up to losing your phone by investing a small amount of money in the redesigned, all-white Simkey Simcard Backup - a little gadget that will save everyone's numbers and the contents of your SIM card. Plus it also has a few basic extra features, like being a calculator and calendar.

Very boring, yes. Possibly the most boring thing you could ever buy, but imagine the hassle it'll save when you next unknowingly leave your K600 on the train/bus/pub floor.
