Sharp launches AQUOS D44E series of HD-ready TVs

sharp_aquos_new.jpgMore HD-ready TVs on the market, this time from Sharp, which has launched its AQUOS D44E series.

These piano black or silver-grey LCDs are available with 37, 32 and 26 inch-inch screens, all offering a resolution of 1,366 x 768 pixels, a contrast ratio of 10,000:1, a luminance of 470-500 candelas per square metre, 176 degree viewing angle, 6 m/s response time, analogue and digital tuners, plus 2 SCART sockets and HDMI inputs with HDCP support.

The 26-inch and 32-inch models are available in the UK from late March 2008 for £499 and £599 respectively, with the 37-inch following in July.
