Olympus launches E-420 entry-level DSLR

olympus-e-420.jpgOlympus want to convert you from your compact – and has introduced the E-420 DSLR to make that jump easy.

The E-420 packs in a 10 megapixel sensor, an ISO up to 1600, Live View on its 2.7-inch screen, 28 shooting modes, a TruePic III image processor with Shadow Adjustment Technology (SAT) and ‘true-to-life’ image reproduction with noise reduction and an improved processing speed, Supersonic Wave Filter for dust protection and sequential shooting at up to 3.5fps in full Megapixel mode, with up to eight images in RAW buffer.

Sized at just 5.1 x 3.6 x 2.1-inches and weighing 13.4 ounces, it should be around from April, priced around £379.99.
