A sure sign of the Eee PC’s popularity is the ever-increasing number of spurious rumours currently surrounding it. And the latest is the Asus Eee PC Desktop.
The pictures above were posted by Hot Hardware, supported by absolutely no detail. Indeed, the stylised illustrations (that look very console-like) don’t exactly fill you with confidence in their authenticity either.
But we’re willing to give them the benefit of the doubt…for now. And a stripped-down desktop would make a lot of sense.
