canon_ixus90.jpgFollowing on from the Matei Apostolescu-designed Olympus from yesterday comes another designer digital – the Canon’s new Digital IXUS 90 IS, the work of Naohiro Sek.

Sadly, it doesn’t have the obvious impact of the Olympus, but does have its own industrial-style appeal I guess. Anyway, there are more important things to look at – like the specification. That includes a 10MP sensor, 3x optical zoom, a unique flat key control panel and thumb wheel, a 3-inch PureColor LCD II screen, Motion Detection and Face Detection Technology, Red-Eye Correction (shooting and playback), optical Image Stabilizer (IS) for improved low-light shots, 19 shooting modes, VGA movies at 30fps and the DIGIC III image processor with Noise Reduction Technology.

Should be on the shelves in late March, priced at £259.
