No, this isn't a regional version of the iPhone, it's a regional copy - the Chinese-made DaXian X999.
For the equivalent of £175, you get an unlocked iPhone lookalike (which will have English text if you want it) running Windows Mobile 6, 3.2-inch touch screen with 3D navigation, TI OMAP850 200MHZ CPU, 128MB of RAM. two separate built-in 2MP cameras (front and back), all the expected media playback plus GPS functionality via E-Map. No Wi-Fi though.
