I cannot personally wait for the day when iPod docks are made illegal by the government due to too many accidents involving the blasted things being thrown out of windows and at Curry's employees' heads.
Having said that, if I had to choose one to litter my house with, I'd definitely consider this Moderna unit from Phiaton. Looking more like a space-age mobile phone than a cumbersome speaker system, it could possibly sound alright with the 60 watts pumping through the cylindrical speakers on the sides there and an inbuilt D class amplifier.
With pricing and availability being hard to come across, I'll hazard a guess at it costing far more than one should spend on what is essentially just an iPod dock in an evening gown.
