Sony Ericsson has found someone new to hold its handsets - Maria Sharapova.
Yes, the glamorous tennis star is now the company's 'global brand ambassador' , which essentially means she'll be seen in all the ads - and probably wearing the odd Sony Ericsson logo. But Maria will also be turning her hand at design, 'working with Sony Ericsson's design team on a range of products and accessories'.
Maria Sharapova said: "It is really exciting to be working with a cool brand like Sony Ericsson which has such a strong reputation in the entertainment industry".
I'm guessing the money was quite nice too.
