The downside of us all upping our storage requirements is an ever-increasing pile of old/surplus hard drives heading to the tip. So how can you recycle them? Well, one idea of this rather cool Hard Drive Clock.
Yes, this is an old hard drive, with the centre drilled out by Etsy seller pixelthis and a quartz movement installed. Add some hands (hours, minutes and seconds) and an acrylic stand and you have the perfect timepiece for the company IT guy.
But best of all, it's cheap, selling on Etsy for $21, which is just over £10.
