nikon-p60.jpgThat chunky kid in the corner there is Nikon’s Coolpix P60, just announced to the whole of the internets. With 8.1-megapixels and a 5x Zoom-Nikkor lens, it’s not too shabby for its £199.99 price-tag.

Actually, scratch that. It’s going to be sold in the US for $230, so us UK-ers are paying £85 more than we should be. That makes me sad.

Built around Nikon’s EXPEED digital image processing concept, it has 12MB of internal memory, an image sensor shift vibration reduction image stabilisation, 15 scene modes, four movie modes, and Programmed Auto and Manual exposure modes.

Powered by AA batteries if that’s what you’re into, your precious photos are saved on SDHC cards and can be viewed from the 2.5″ LCD screen.

Out in March.
