Nothing makes a man look more manly than cuddling up with a furry robocub, right? Oh. Still, WowWee’s new Alive range is still pretty fun. There’s a lion, a white tiger, a panda and a polar bear in the range, and they were all on show at the CES Unveiled press event tonight.

They’re more toys than WowWee’s traditional field of robots, but they are pretty interactive. For example, the lion goes limp when you pick him up by the scruff of the neck, and has blinking eyes and a mouth that moves when he growls or purrs.

wowwee-alive-group.jpgThe cubs even go to sleep if you leave them alone for five minutes. Perfect bedtime toys for kids, basically. I’d quite like an anteater though, if they decide to expand the range. The Alive cubs will be available in Spring for around $60 in the US, and WowWee say they’ll be heading to Europe too, around the same time.
