CES hasn't kicked off yet - Team Shiny flies out tomorrow morning. But there's still some Vegas-related news hitting the wires, not to mention some interesting hotspots to check out while we're there for the show.
Top of my list is Eyecandy, a cocktail bar slap bang in the middle of the Mandalay casino. It's got all the high-tech gadgetry a man could want while sipping his Mojito, such as interactive touch tables you can use to send messages to other tables ('OH HAI, IM UR UK TECH BLOGGER, CHATTING U UP...')
There's also motorised cameras to goggle at your fellow clubbers, a touch-activated LED dancfloor, and three sound stations where you can plug in your iPod for the DJ to play tracks from. I'm loading mine up with Betty Boo as we speak. The only downside is the $200 an hour it costs to reserve a table...
