CES 2008: Team T-bot and Couple flash drives

USB memory sticks are even lower than digital photo frames and iPod docks in the Tech Digest Scale Of Interestingness at CES. Although we have been amused by tales of other journalists (NOT us) refusing to accept USB press kits unless their capacity was big enough to make them worth keeping. For shame.

Anyway, that has nothing to do with Team Group, whose T-bot and Couple USB drives at least tweak the formula by looking like little people. The T-bot is a little robot fella with a built-in magnet to attach him to magnetic metallic surfaces (i.e. fridges or filing cabinets), and comes in versions ranging from 256MB up to 4GB.

team-flash3.JPGMeanwhile, the Couple Drive is a set of two USB sticks, with cutesy male and female designs. Again, it ranges from 256MB to 4GB, depending which one you buy. Team is a Taiwanese firm, so is hopefully looking for Western distribution deals for both drives.
