CES 2008: IceRage reveals its pair of “magnificent” mice

IceRage is a company that isn’t shy with its adjectives. Their press kits use word like ‘Fashioneering’, and ‘Magnificent’ – really not bad for a company that makes mice. And the first of these has been christened ‘The Ultimate Pocket Mouse’. What could possibly have earned it this accolade? Well, it certainly tries to pile in as many conceivable mouse functions on to a single object as humanly possible.

The Ultimate mouse packs in a Class II laser pointer, an LED display, a numerical keypad and is still only half an inch thick. It is / will be available in three colours and works with Vista, XP and Mac OS X. You can pick up both USB 2.0 and wireless Bluetooth versions.

For those wanting a little less from heir mice, the more humbly titled Pocket mouse is a compact mouse designed for notebook users. It comes in a range of colours which will class perfectly with whatever you’re wearing. There’s a Bluetooth version and USB one with a retracting cable.
