Hey, check that guy in the photo. He's cool, right? Try to ignore the hairstyle. He's got swizzy new videoglasses, allowing him to watch his iPod videos as if they're being shown on a 45-inch screen. Don't you just want to be him? Don't you? Quite.
They're a new product called the Cinemizer, which has been launched at Macworld Expo by Carl Zeiss, of camera tech fame. They come with a wired remote control to play, stop and pause videos, and are powered by a battery residing in the special iPod dock.
You can hook them up to non-iPod video sources, and they can be adjusted to fit spectacle-wearers - something other iPod eyewear gadgets haven't cracked yet. The Cinemizer is due to go on sale in February or March for 370 Euros (around £275), in five colours. Soon you could look as cool as the guy on the left. Believe.

Looks like there's a new competitor in the video eyewear market... Actually, I think that the only 'added value' they are offering is that they have been manufactured under the Carl Zeiss wing....
But in terms of design & weight the ones I bought at http://www.relaxview.eu are far way better!! And they have a model with the same resolution!
I would not like to be found wearing those! They look awful!. I heard the video glasses mentioned in the comment above from relaxview look much better.
I don't think these look that bad, although they probably look more "geekier" than "futuristic" like the ones on the http://www.videoglasses.org.uk website.
That said, I still don't think I'd buy them. I'm a commuter, and the idea of being able to connect a pair of video glasses to my laptop and watch a film does appeal to me - but I think I'd look like an idiot!
I'm looking forward to the new Vuzix Wrap 920AV glasses, as I reckon they look a bit better.
