It might be small, but Orange claims its iCON225 USB modem is all you need for EDGE, 3G and 3G+ or HSDPA connectivity out and about.
It's available as part of Orange's Business Everywhere range. The modem pre-loaded with the Business Everywhere virtual dashboard, with software configured to automatically select the fastest available mobile connection, wherever you are located. Business customers can also use the device to securely connect to a corporate VPN and access internal systems.
Price is from free, depending on your tariff. Orange will offer it to non-business customers from early 2008.
