LG Chocolate goes silver and lilac for Christmas
Who in God’s name wants a lilac-coloured LG Chocolate phone? Really, they might as well have made a tigerskin edition. I’d buy that. But no, LG has announced that the Choc will be available in new silver and lilac versions this Christmas in the UK.
They join the original black and white models, although you won’t be able to buy the new versions just anywhere. The silver model will only be on sale in Phones4U stores on pay-as-you-go tariffs, while the lilac model is exclusive to rival chain Carphone Warehouse, and will be on both contract and pay-as-you-go.
Here’s hoping LG isn’t doing a Motorola and planning to spend the next couple of years churning out slightly-different variations on its most successful phone, before wondering why its market share is dipping. Now, if they do a turqoise-edition Viewty…
