Hong Kong firm Art Tech has revealed a wristwatch that uses e-paper for its face, rather than a traditional design. It’s using technology from E Ink Corp, and comes with a choice of two bands: leather or polyurethane.

What’s so special about an e-paper faced watch? Flexibility, that’s what. The display can change between different ‘faces’ at will, including analogue and digital patterns. In other words, it’s the chameleon of the watch world, able to mutate into a design suiting its present company at any time. Sort of.

Imagine the possibilities if Tokyoflash ever get hold of this kind of technology! You could have multiple impossible-to-read faces in one watch, and change between them depending on how scrambled you want your brains on a particular day. Ace.
