See, this is what working in our industry does to us! Singing songs on YouTube about lurking outside Bill Gates's house, and wondering what he's thinking as he "looks out one of his 500 windows".
The song's basic premise is shown through the title, 'I Wouldn't Want To Be Bill Gates', and was written and performed by former USA Today tech writer Kevin Maney, who's now over at Portfolio magazine. I have a feeling if I'm still writing about tech when I'm his age, I'll be sitting in front of YouTube opening up my heart and soul about Gates too.
Actually - scratch that, I've already got a song composed in my head about him, which I wrote when I saw his first keynotes speech. Titled 'I Would Want To (share beds with) Bill Gates', it's as similarly transparent as Maney's.
