Sony unveils Deep Red PSP in Japan

Sales of PSPs have been soaring since the Slim’n’Lite version of Sony’s handheld came out, but the company isn’t stopping there. It’s just unveiled a Deep Red PSP in Japan, which goes on sale next month.

And, er, that’s it. It’s a PSP, but red. Good for gamers who think red is the new black. I’m still holding out for the PSP: Beige Edition, but Sony’s product marketing people seem strangely unwilling to oblige. Anyway, given the traditional lack of exciting-coloured PSPs here in the UK, don’t hold your breath for this one…
