Pure Highway – first self-install DAB in-car radio
Fancy a bit of Planet Rock on the way to work? Or how about some indie-friendly tunes from 6music? Both (and many more) will be available in your car with the newly-launched Pure Highway.
It’s the world’s first in-car DAB digital radio that doesn’t require complicated installation, playing back via your car’s existing stereo – and as a bonus, you can also hook up our iPod via the device. Power is via your cigarette lighter or batteries and the aerial fixes to your windscreen.
Highway has four preloaded presets giving one-touch tuning to Virgin Radio, talkSPORT, Planet Rock and theJazz, but you can listen to anything in where a signal is available. And there’s pause and rewind functionality, 20 presets and software updates via USB. It will be available before Christmas, priced at £69.99.
