The Italian company Pasen has taken on the task of re-branding the VX989 Chinese MP3 player from ONDA, and called it...LAZYBUM. Your eyes don't deceive you - that's LAZYBUM, and rightly capitalised, too.
They're claiming it's the world's first 'mini-PMP', able to play MP3, WMA, WAV, AVI, XviD, DivX, ASF, MP4, FLV formats, plus a bunch more. Never mind the fact that their claim isn't all that special - who wants to watch Heroes on a 2.8" screen - it also sports a miniSD card slot for added storage, eight equalizer presets, FM tuner, voice recorder, games, text viewer, and karaoke feature with readable lyrics.
Apparently the reasoning behind calling the player LAZYBUM is due to the 400 MHz multimedia processor, meaning no file conversion is necessary. Perfect for lazy bums such as you and I, then!
