Britney's new album was whacked up on various MTV web sites as a promotional thing in advance of its retail release, which, according to MTV lead to unprecedented demand for an online preview. A whole one million people listened to her new material, which isn't bad going for a woman who's transformed before our eyes from global lust object into a universal laughing stock.
MTV reckons this is very positive news for the car-crash pop star, but perhaps one million people just wanted to know if her new album is as awful as her current reputation without going through the pain of handing over the cash?
