Not only does it light up, but it plays sounds and music from the Nintendo games, presumably the theme tune, and Mario's greatest hits like "Itsa me, Mario!"
Please-oh-please let this be programmable to wake users up at 7am with the catch-phrase "Itsa pizza time!" When launched in December, it'll be £14.95 from Tokyo Toy Store. Sorry, no word on whether it will make users invincible...
