Last month, MySpace announced plans to launch its own casual web games channel, called logically enough MySpace Games. It's working with casual giant Oberon Media on the venture, and Games Digest has been picking the brains of Oberon's Ezra Kucharz about how it may work.
"We'll be looking at many new ways to get users to interact with each other through the social games," he says. "Through the partnership, MySpace users will be able to add games to their profile pages from our portfolio of titles and players will be able to challenge friends to multi-player games, invite them to play the same single player game, or socialize via chat services within the game."
It sounds like it could be supremely addictive, once you get your friends involved. However, MySpace isn't the only social network getting its game on: I've already lost several work hours this week to Scrabulous and Tower Bloxx on Facebook...
