No jokey intros on this one: news has been breaking this morning about a siege and/or shooting in the Jokela high-school in Finland - at the time of writing, it's reported that one person has been killed and others injured.
But here's the chilling part: this YouTube video was uploaded yesterday by a user called 'Sturmgeist89', and is titled simply 'Jokela High School Massacre'. It's a mixture of still photos (including a man posing with a gun) and music. EDIT: His account has now been suspended.
His YouTube profile is even more frightening, claiming his name is Pekka-Eric Auvinen, and that he's a "natural selector" who'll "eliminate all who I see unfit".
Oh, and: "You might ask yourselves, why did I do this and what do I want. Well, most of you are too arrogant and closed-minded to understand... You will proprably say me that I am"insane", "crazy", "psychopath", "criminal" or crap like that. No, the truth is that I am just an animl, a human, an individual, a dissident."
If this is the Jokela gunman, there's plenty for investigators to pick over in the coming days, with 89 videos in this YouTube account, including one of the alleged owner and his gun, "Catherine".
Truly chilling.
