If there's one mobile app you should download this week, it's DOGMOB - not only is it fun, but you'll be helping out Battersea Dogs in the process. And don't tell me you're not interested in saving dogs' lives!
When lurking on the DOGMOB website, the process couldn't be easier, simply select the Battersea dog you'd like to adopt (pictured here is Saffy, who is actually in need of a home), and text the dog's name to 80022. You're then sent a link to a Mobstar WAP site, where you can download content such as an animated screensaver, wallpaper certificate, 'thank-you' video and barking rintone, plus free news updates about your adopted dog, if you choose.
It costs £3 to adopt each dog, and all the proceeds will go to the Battersea Dogs & Cats Home - and if you're wondering, yes, CATMOB is on its way soon. Only question is...do I have enough memory left on my mobile to download all four pups?
