Medion sells budget-priced Intel Core 2 Duo MD 96480 notebook in Sainsbury’s

Medion continues doing what it does best – selling computers at a pocket-friendly price without compromising on the specification. And the latest is the MD 96480 notebook, which will sell in Sainsbury’s from the start of November.

The notebook offers a 1.50GHz dual-core Intel Core 2 Duo processor, 2GB DDR II RAM and NVIDIA GeForce 8600M GS dedicated graphics with 256MB GDDR II RAM for improved gaming. There’s also a 15.4” TFT WXGA widescreen monitor optimised for DVD playback, a digital Freeview TV tuner with remote, six channel surround sound, a dual-layer DVD re-writer, Wi-Fi, integrated webcam, 4-in-1 memory card reader and 250GB hard disk.

Sold with bundled software that includes Windows Vista Home Premium edition, the notebook will retail for £599.99.
