Oh look, another iPod Bluetooth accessory on the same day.
iSkin has announced its CERULEAN wireless iPod accessories, allowing music to be streamed from the iPod to other audio devices via Bluetooth.
First up is the CERULEAN TX+RX, which comes with two devices. The transmitter plugs into the iPod's dock, while the receiver plugs into a speaker system. The transmitter can also be used with a standard computer. The receiver automatically searches for TX-equipped gear, and pairs. The devices can be used with any stereo system with auxilliary inputs, and any audio source with audio output ports.
Next up is the CERULEAN F1, which is supposed to be the smallest stereo Bluetooth 2.0 earphones/mono headset combo currently available. It uses a unique 15mm driver and rare Neodymium magnet with a mylar layer that ensures crisp reproduction of sound, weighs just 35g, and allows both an iPod and mobile phone to be connected at the same time.
The F1 will automatically switch from stereo earphones to mono headset mode upon an incoming call, so the user doesn’t miss calls and can talk using its built-in omni-directional microphone.
The CERULEAN TX+RX costs £99.99 while the CERULEAN F1 costs £129.99. They're both available now.
