Oh. My. Goodness. 39-megapixels. I think I'm hyperventilating. Someone slap me, quick!
Hasselblad are obviously aiming high with their latest D-SLR, the H3D II which shoots photos using a shocking 39-megapixels. That's not a typo - that's thirty-nine megapixels. Just what users are supposed to do with SUPER HI-RES photos of that size, I'll never know. Maybe take a photo of the Beckhams' house, print it out life-size and mount it on plywood, and stick it over your crummy block of flats to fool passerbys?
The H3D II comes with a 3-inch display, 48x36mm CCD sensor, and a $36,739 price-tag. Ouch. I bet Annie Leibovitz and Mario Testino have eight of the beasts.
